Every time I take this Katana, I`m fascinated and have to admitt, the pictures do not fit the sword. You could have the feeling, this exceptional Katana want to withdraw to be photographed !
Even the Utsuri is not visible untill you take it in your own hands…and you will be impressed not just because of the lenght ( ca.75cm ).
This beautiful Katana is made ~1700 by Hironobu and he is listed by Fujishiro as a chu-jo-saku.
And especially this Minamoto Hironobu ( Yamato ) sword has a Tokubetsu Kicho NBTHK paper and a Tokubetsu Kicho NBTHK paper for the Koshirae as well ! The dragons in the smoky red Saya you will just see if you look closely ! Just a piece for a connoisseur.

Nagasa: ca.75cm, ubu Nakago, 1 Mekugiana with inscription:
Yamato no Kami Minamoto Hironobu
