This very nice Katana was judged by the Honami family, which has a long tradition in value swords. Therefore you find the goldmei “Honami” on the tang.
This is a very typical Katana made by Kanemoto with the “sanbonsugi” Hamon. It is clear and bright and nice to at. The balde is in perfect condition with a nice mounting. This elegant Katana comes with a Hozon from NBTHK Tokyo.
