This sword is from the late Muromachi Period and was made by Kanabo Saemon jo Masasada. The Yamato Kanabo School is well known for its cutting ability and popular over the region. Masasada was wrking around the Kyo-Roku period ( 1528-1558 ).
The shown Katana is in good condition, a bit shortened, has a very nice Habaki. It comes with a Tokubetsu Kicho paper of NBTHK.
