Tadahiro 2. Generation was born in Hizen Prefecture 1614. He was th son of the famous blacksmith Tadayoshi 1. Generation. He already learned the art of forging in the young age of 10 with his father. So he was growing in young years to a skillful master of producing swords. In this line he was the only signing Tadahiro . His sons also used the family name of Tadayoshi. Regarding to his masterful skills he was recognized with the title “Omi Daijo” at his age of 28. And in his carrier he was known as a very skillful blacksmith and died t age 81. He very often made blades with a perfect suguha hamon.
In Fujishiro he is rated as a jojo saku, a especially good smith and in Hawley he is earning 70points.
This very fine sword is an ubu blade ( in original shape, no shorting’s ) in perfect condition and a trus masterpiece. It come along with a Tokubetsu Hozon of the NBTHK in Tokyo as well with an old Tokubetsu Kicho paper. The Shirasaya has a small sayagaki.
And the fine and elegant Koshirae (mounts) is outstanding and has a Hozon itself, attached with a Tokubetsu Kicho Origami of the NBTHK of Tokyo.
