Explaination:
This blade was a naginata. It was cutted down and with removal of steel from the back of the blade it was transformed to Katana style and attributed to the Chogi Smith Nagamori. Signed blades of Nagamori are very rare, even we know some works from the Shohei Periode ( 1346-1370).
The Jiba on this blade Shows the typical signes from the Chogi School, but the Hamon is a Little smaller than typical, what is pointing to Nagamori.
