This beautiful Katana coes from Oei times ( 1394-1428 ). This is the end of the Nambukutcho and beginning of the Muromachi times. This interesting Katana was attributed to the smith Katsuie by Hozon of the NBTHK. He is said to be the founder of the Darani-school which is belonging to the Chiyozuru-school. This shown Katan is in good condition and has a decent Koshirae.
